Arts & Crafts: Child
Paints
An easel, good art
smock, supply of large sheets of paper and a nice shady place outside or a table
in the house is a perfect starting point for a whole range of child painting and
coloring projects. Your kids will love nothing more than your praise and seeing
their creations being hung. Your only challenge will be to find enough space on
your fridge for all the artwork!
Paints can not only be
extremely fun for kids, but it's very educational. They can learn to mix
colors to get other colors, or they learn the shapes on anything they
want to draw.
To mix colors, you can use the primary colors to get all of the colors
of the rainbow. To make a lighter color, always add white. If you want a
more dark color, add black. For example: When you add white to a blue,
it will turn it into a light blue. When you add black to the blue, you
will get a navy blue.
