Simba-Dickie-Group has a strong and successful position in the global toy market.
The Group was founded in 1982 by Fritz Sieber and his son, Michael, and is now among the top five toy manufacturers. From the very beginning, awareness of tradition and boldness pointed the way to the top. These are principles held by the Group’s owners, as well as all of its employees. Since its foundation, the Group’s staff has increased from 5 to more than 500 employees throughout Europe. Meanwhile, more than 3,000 people work for the Simba-Dickie-Group in joint ventures worldwide.

The milestone of global orientation was set as early as 1985 with the founding of Simba Toys Hong Kong.
In 2001 the purchasing office was replaced by a new, large branch at which the Simba-Dickie-Group now works under one roof.

Simba-Dickie-Group’s toy range consists of more than 3,000 items. These items are manufactured in Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and China. They are distributed by means of state-of-the-art logistics with automatic packing stations. In Germany alone, a 50,000-sqm area is used for this purpose. Half of this area is situated in Sonneberg, which even provides a mail-order service for trade and industry.

The many different threads of business are united at the Group’s head-quarters in Fürth/Bavaria, where almost all the ideas are forged and designs are worked out.
